ABOUT HYPER XPRESSIONS

Founded in 2011 by TJ Mendez at Occidental College, Hyper Xpressions is a dance company that seeks to integrate and appreciate all styles of dance from contemporary styles to hip hop. Every year the Hyper Xpressions dance company puts on a variety of events performing at college football and basketball games, Planned Parenthood fundraisers, and even putting on an entire showcase in the spring.

This dance company based in Los Angeles demonstrates core values of innovation, community, inspiration, and connection through their performance art and presence on the Occidental College campus.
