Hyper Xpressions

Charlene, aka Shards, is a first-year who was born in Houston, TX but grew up in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Charlene is currently planning on majoring in Psychology with a double minor in Education and Chinese. Outside of Hyper Xpressions, Charlene is a part of Dance Production and Intervarsity. She started off in ballet class at the age of five but had to stop after her family moved. She self-taught herself contemporary and hip hop in high school and has been dancing ever since. Her favorite style is contemporary but she enjoys all genres. She loves her Hyper family and is extremely grateful to have been able to meet a group of dancers with the same passion during her first year
